Active/Fitness Champion Dan Mount: Small Actions Lead to Huge Rewards
That’s how Active/Fitness Champion Dan Mount summed up his lifestyle before The Challenge.
“Come home from work, hit the couch, watch the news…slept,” Dan continued as he described his sedentary lifestyle.
But since Vi Promoters are all about walking the talk, Dan looked at his team and realized that “they needed somebody to inspire them to actually do it, and then they would follow suit.” That’s when he took action and Challenged himself to run 90 consecutive 5Ks. Dan admitted that it “wasn’t easy, but it was fun.”
With the help of the Fuel Kit, he lost 55 lbs. on his first Challenge and maintained the weight for 3½ years. After completing his second Challenge, he lost an additional 30 lbs. Today, Dan’s 88 lbs. lighter since he made the commitment to change his lifestyle.
